Wood is a limited and valuable resource.
Accordingly, the issue of sustainability is a top priority for HCR when dealing with the purchase of roundwood. We source only domestic, sustainable and certified spruce and pine wood from state, municipal and private forests. Just like with our satisfied customers, we maintain a long-term relationship with our regional forestry operations. We process both long timber and fixed lengths. We debark and measure the delivered roundwood in our cross-cutting and sorting plant.
We are a high-performance sawmill with high quality criteria. Our modern profile chipping technology is designed for processing weaker logs.
